The Resident Evil 3 Update: The new Resident Evil is just two weeks away from now, but to slake our corona-virus enhanced bloodlust, Capcom is just released a short demo to play their interim.
The new Resident Evil 3: Racoon City Demo is free for the PS4, Xbox and PC as well and it also provides an enticing glimpse of around 45-minutes of their early game action. As their demo begins, Carlos and Jill have just met, and we could see that Carlos has bought Jill to a parked subway car to meet Mikhail Victor, who is a grizzled member of the Umbrella Biohazard Countermeasure Service.
From that moment the players are let loose on the city, invited to be exploring as Jill, having a pistol in one hand and also a flashlight in the other.
The Resident Evil 3 Update:
It is a solid chunk of the game which is very small enough that the gamers won’t feel like they have seen too much when they have started their full game, but substantial enough that they will have a very good idea of whether or not the reimagined version of The Resident Evil 3:Nemesis is for them.
This thing should not become a surprise for the gamers, but playing Resident Evil 3 also feels almost exactly the same as playing the previous part the part 2.
Jill’s movement speed, the way the guns should be handled, even the UI for interacting with the whole world and the inventory all also communicates that this game, as much as it is a reimagining of the game nemesis, is also very much of a continuation of the ideas of the Capcom developed in the Resident Evil 2 remake.
Some examples could be that the zombies in the new Resident Evil 3 retain the hard-to-hit shaky shamble of their RE2 counterparts in the game. Headshots, too often remain not much effective. But instead, the player will be wanting to aim for their enemy’s legs to bring them to the ground, which then allows them to dart them around.
